I don't see the big deal. They seem to be appropriately placed and less offensive than the billboards and signs you see in real life. and I would never think to defile my PS3 in this way. It is a beautiful piece of high tech machinery and shows it off well in its sleek appearance. To hack at it with a pen-knife? Even a little speculation about how much this could cut costs on Blu-ray players and PS3. How much does it cost to manufacture now? Is it really that substantial of a development to get passed on to the consumer? Does this save the manufactures $20 or $200? A little vague on the actual impact.
and with the recent release of Burnout, I'm not sure anyone would really care besides the few and far between fans of the show. Also being a German only release kind of kills any hope of success. It doesn't look bad.....but just plain. 360 is in need of some good exclusives that aren't shooter based. Hope to see something more substantial for the box.

I am surprised by the aggressive response by everybody here. Yes it sucks that it will be delayed, but then, everybody would bash into the ground if it came out and was any less than what it has been portrayed as in the hype - a perfect and innovative game. Hype is a double edged sword; it's great to draw attention to the game, but if it comes out and is only a 7/10, you get massacred by the press and fans.

I bought the PS1 just before a price cut and the same with PS2. With the PS3, I got the 60 gig just before they change to the 40 and 80 and rearranged the prices again.

Listen, I didn't realize my comment on my opinion (to save money on the next gen hardware) would raise such a big deal. I understand what nostalgia is, I've been gaming for about 25 years now. A rated M game is the equivalent of a rated R movie. I have yet to see anything in a game that comes close to the sex and/or violence portrayed in movies like Friday the 13th, Saw, Porky's and the like.

I absolutely agree with you. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the older hardware; in their time they filled my hours and wowed me. What I am saying is that once the new system comes out, I don't feel the need to back and play old software. And, yes, some of the older games are far better when it comes to story, control and overall gameplay. I thought it was such a great idea for both the PS2 and PS3, but you know what? Once I get a foot into the next gen systems, I don't look back. It's good in theory, but when I play PS3 for a couple hours, then pop in one of my old PS2 games, I can't help but just saying "WOW, these games look bad. How did I ever think this is cutting edge?"

I never found myself saying, "yeah, I get to kill terrorists. That'll teach 'em!" The same as in the past with all the WWII based games. I didn't really care who or what I was fighting, as long as I had fun doing so. I mean, Resistance: FOM wasn't a big seller because we are soon going to be invaded by aliens, and we all wanted teach them a lesson before they get here!
Great games sell because of great/fun gameplay, not for perceived political statements.
